Myotherapy is a form of manual therapy focused on assessing, treating, and managing musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. It targets issues related to muscle tightness, joint stiffness, nerve irritation, and soft tissue injuries. Myotherapists use a variety of hands-on techniques such as deep tissue massage, dry needling, trigger point therapy, cupping, and corrective exercises to reduce pain and restore movement. Myotherapy is commonly used to treat conditions like tension headaches, sports injuries, postural imbalances, and chronic pain. It not only addresses symptoms but also helps prevent future issues by improving muscular health and biomechanics. At Assemble Osteopathy, our myotherapists take a holistic approach to ensure long-term results that support your overall wellbeing.

If your concern is more structural ~ like joint restrictions, chronic postural imbalances, or whole-body alignment ~ osteopathy may be ideal. If your discomfort feels more muscular ~ tightness, trigger points, or sports-related pain ~ myotherapy could be more suitable. Both therapies are complementary and often work best together. Our practitioners can guide you to the right option based on your specific needs. Feel free to get in touch via email info@assembleosteo.com.au.
